Andrew Witcher's French New Wave review

I watched 400 Blows, by François Truffaut. I enjoyed this film thoroughly. Truffaut told the tale of the hardships of a boys childhood, who is ignored by his parents and resented by his teachers. The boys decide to skip out on school; and attempt to write a forged note from their parents. Essentially everything that could go wrong goes wrong, similar situations most of us have faced growing up. This film symbolizes Truffaut's free spirited thoughts through the freedom and risk the boys take.
